Shown here are photos we took of the 5th gen concept Camaro at the Chicago Auto Show. Wow, what a car.
The public response to this car has been unbelievable. The droves of people gathering around the car made
it difficult to get close. But we did manage to get some good photos.
The photos of the red concept car were from the Camaro Superfest banquet we attended Saturday night, July 2nd.
A couple hundred die hard Camaro enthusiasts attended the banquet and once the crowd died out, we were able to
have some one-on-one time with the car. Being alone in a room with a 5.5 million dollar concept car is pretty
amazing! Especially when its a Camaro. There were three representatives from GM at the banquet talking about the
spectacular birth of the car. Tom Peters, Brian Smith, and Scott Settlemeyer gave a PowerPoint presentation and
showed photos of all the early sketches, the clay models, scale models, etc. as the car progressed toward completion.
It was a great presentation and it was fascinating to hear these the GM designers tell the story behind the concept.
